Generally, themethodologies revolved around the amount of water consumed in producing a good or service and the likely effect on the environment. The existing estimates by UNICEF suggest that there are tens of millions of street- children facing social, economic, physical and health challenges around the world, and Cameroon has a large number of children living on the streets in its urban cities.

They are at risk of poor health, get involved in drugs, prostitution, gangs, and commit crimes. Cameroon does not have any intervention programme to address the phenomenon of street children. The study aimed to explore the lives of street children in Cameroon.

Data was collected using qualitative methods during in the cities of Bamenda. The participants were street children and key informants working with street children. Medical diagnostic X- rays are the largest source of ionizing radiation received by members of the general public. This PNF aims at improving motor responses but it is not yet effectively implemented in the rehabilitative protocol of post stroke hemiplegic patients in the Bafoussam Regional Hospital. The main objective was to evaluate the impact of PNF in the rehabilitation of post stroke hemiplegic persons. This study was an interventional study which took place at the Regional Hospital of Bafoussam.

We included in this study post stroke hemiplegic persons undergoing rehabilitation in the physiotherapy unit and who consented to participate. We had 2 groups: PNF in this study seems to be more efficient in the management of post stroke hemiplegia in this context and should be recommended in the Physiotherapy unit of the above hospital.

There is also need for similar studies to be implemented in other hospital contexts in the country and with larger sample sizes to better appreciate this efficiency. Although it is an important clinical intervention in paediatrics, surgery, maternal health and general medicine, it has been received with mixed feelings from the mothers sometimes leading to runaways or direct rejection. This study sought to explore mothers? A qualitative descriptive design was employed. The study involved seven mothers selected by purposive sampling, who were caring for medically stable children who had received a blood transfusion.

Data was coded, transcribed and analysed using Colaizzi? Four themes emerged from nine categories desccribing mothers? Trust, fear of the unknown, blood safety and being optimistic.

These qualitative findings reveal mixed feelings about blood transfusion. In conclusion the themes that emerged were mostly expressions of perceptions of blood transfusion.

These qualitative findings suggest that public acceptance of blood transfusion as a medical intervention is based on their perceptions of the risks involved and the perceived benefits of the intervention. It is clear that knowledge of the facts about blood transfusion by health workers is paramount; therefore this knowledge needs to be communicated to the public so that they are able to make informed choices about their treatment.

There should be psychological preparation of the patients and their caretakers prior to blood transfusion in an attempt to change the negative perceptions and alleviate fears.

Banknotes are commonly and routinely circulating among individuals, and bacteria contaminated sudanese banknotes can spread and transmitted directly, through hand-to-hand contact, or indirectly, via food or other inanimate objects. This study was designed to assess the bacerial contamination of Sudanese banknotes and banknotes handlers hygiene in Khartoum state, Sudan.

These samples were microbiologically tested for quantify and identification of bacteria contaminated of Sudanese banknotes by using biochemical tests and SPSS system to analyzed the study questionnaires. The current study aims to evaluate the influence of the pre-slaughter capture chase duration stress on carcass and meat quality in local chicken of Benin. Sixty-four chickens of 6 to 7 months old divided into 4 flocks of 8 males and 8 females each reared under traditional system were used.

Chickens of first group were not chased before slaughter. Whereas, chickens of the second, the third and the fourth groups were slaughtered respectively after 5 minutes, 10 minutesand 15 minutes of chase by 3 persons.

Carcass and meat quality was evaluated. Carcass quality traits didn? The two longer capture chase duration chickens had the lower breast pH at the first measure time.

But it was higher in those chased during 15 minutes at 48 hours after slaughter. Control birds showed lower pH than the 5 minutes stressed one at 1 and at 12 hours. The thigh pH values were higher with the most chased chickens. The breast lightness was higher in the most chased on the slaughter day. Meanwhile, the breast yellow index was higher with chickens of 15 minutes of chase.

But no difference was found for the meat red index values of the four flocks. In sum, the sensory and technological meat qualities of local chickens decrease more with the capture chase duration stress. This study aimed to assess the effectiveness of radiomorphometric indices based on digital panoramic and cone beam computed tomography CBCT images as osteoporosis predictors in healthy and osteoporotic women. Twenty selected female volunteers were scanned by digital panoramic, dual Energy x-ray absorptiometry DEXA and CBCT scans.

The same measurements were performed on digital panoramic, and CBCT images by 3 observers and the average of each was calculated. NEEDS DURING BED REST IN HIGH RISK PREGNANCY: But when the pregnancy is at high risk, it is recommended to limit activity and treated with bed rest which disturbs natural process of pregnancy. The women develop some needs during the journey of bed rest and want support to get them fulfilled for better maternal and fetal outcome. To undertake a narrative review so as to explore the needs of high risk pregnant women during bed rest.

Manual searches of other relevant journals and reference list of primary articles were also done. Data analysis of 4 of the studies reported the needs of high risk pregnant women during bed rest like need for consultation due to physical problems, psychological problems, marital problems, fear and stress, need for planning various activities during bed rest, need for counselling on psychological problems, need for social support, need for assistance with emotional adaptation and bed rest.

Remaining 4 studies discussed about anxiety, stress, depression and worries faced by women which are factors for arousing specific needs during bed rest in high risk pregnancy. Bed rest interrupts the natural process of pregnancy due to which high risk pregnant mother may sometime feel isolated. During hospitalization, the high risk pregnant mother has high level of stress, anxiety and worries. So, nurse should have a sense of responsibility to assess the needs of high risk pregnant mother and can take help of family members to cope up with the situation.

The school environment is also an important aspect of education or specifically formal education. The secondary school stage is the most crucial stage of formal education. The present study concentrates on finding the aggressive behavior among secondary school students in relation to the school environment. A sample of secondary school students was selected randomly from District Ferozepur.

The results revealed that Secondary School Students shows Average Aggression. No significant difference was found in aggression of secondary school students in relation to gender and residential area.

Students of Private Secondary School students have significantly more aggressive behaviour than that of Government secondary school students.

In the present study, prominently evolved varieties of Indica rice Oryza sativa L. Effect of temperature and humidity on the grain yield and grain quality in different geographical areas of Northern India was studied. This would ensure the selection of rice varieties with respect to different geographical climatic regions. Seven varieties of rice were studied and characterized by the effect on their morpho-physiochemical characters in different climatic conditions of Uttar Pradesh and Haryana, India.

All the seven varieties of rice except Sambha Sub-1 showed presence of fgr gene whose protein product are responsible for the peculiar fragrance of Basmati rice.
