I've been trading the NQ with a little success but am based in Europe at the moment and would like to trade the Dax. However, I've been demo trading it for a while now and I can't get a thing right with it. The way I read the price action on the NQ doesn't seem to work on the Dax. I always thought that Price action work on all markets, but with the Dax I get stopped out again and again.

Can any successful Dax traders give any hints or maybe share a few days wirth of charts with entries etc to give me an idea?

I tend to use mainly a 5min chart, as well as a longer timeframe for general trend ideas, and a tick chart to try to fine tune entries. Why not ESTX50, less spikey than DAX, from what I recall. There is a really good thread from about tars back on DAX, by a guy named Scientist.

It is very long, and has tons of useful info. I personally traded DAX about tears ago. Its moves are fantastic, but it is too thin for me. Dax trades as it does cause of volume, which is less than US Nasdaq and Dow, so any time volume less, you have to risk more, it is like lunch time in ES. How bout Ditch suggested Euro Stoxx 50 and Euro Bund and Euro Bobl Can be how you entering, if you doing breakouts that requires much more protective stops and often where you getting it, those who got in on deeper retracements are getting out where you getting in.
